Create a custom bookcase for your books

bookshelf.jpg

The "Book and Shelf" is a bookcase project that fits specific books into custom measured compartments, giving its owner the feeling of having a tailored piece of furniture for their specific collection. Pretty cool idea that gets rid of the need for book ends forever.

"PlumbingPunk" bed and closet

PLumbers_bedframe.jpg
From the MAKE Flickr pool

Member Sir Maxter fashioned a bed frame with integrated clothes rack out of plumber's pipe - sleek and sturdy! Probably not a popular item come moving time - I'm guessing it must be pretty heavy -Link

Casulo - Your bedroom in a box

Do you move a lot? If you do, Casulo is an interesting project that tries to combine all your furniture needs into a box that is easily moved from one place to another. I am not too sure how sturdy it would be, and I highly doubt it would survive a dorm room party, but it is a really interesting concept. - Link
